Exploring My Wanderlust: South Korea

Hey there! I'm Stacy, welcome to my solo journey of wanderlust. I'm diving into my adventures in the ROK—Republic of Korea. Get ready for some fun as we chat about all things South Korea.

The Fun Begins

Throughout this blog, I'll be sharing my experiences in South Korea. From the bustling streets of Seoul to the serene temples in the countryside, there's so much to explore. Whether you're planning a trip or just curious about Korean culture, I've got you covered.

Tools of the Trade

One of my handy tools on this adventure is the Papago app. It's a fantastic translation app that helps me navigate conversations in Korean. I'll be using it to translate English to Korean and vice versa. If you heard me practice my Korean, you’d definitely hear me stumble through pronunciations, but that's all part of the fun! I also use KakaoTalk, Naver Maps, Kakao Taxi and other tools that I’ll introduce you to.

Recommendations and Extras

I'll be giving you some top-notch recommendations for places to visit, eat and explore in South Korea. Don't forget to check out my Podcast with Visuals page to listen to episodes from my podcast Second Act Expat about my exploits abroad, while gazing at corresponding pictures.
